Viraj Khanna participated in Moments That Make Infinity, a group exhibition at Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai, curated by Sanjana Shah and Sapna Kar. Bringing together thirteen contemporary artists across painting, ceramics, sculpture, works on paper, and textiles, the exhibition considered how individual gestures, materials, and processes accumulate to shape the experience of an artwork. Presented through a salon-style display, the exhibition encouraged viewers to discover connections across distinct practices while reflecting on the evolving relationship between making and looking.

Khanna presented There's An Error in The Work (2026) and Not Your Food (2026), both hand-embroidered and mixed-media works created on a wooden adda. Marking the first time the artist has incorporated the traditional embroidery frame into the finished work itself, these pieces extended his ongoing engagement with textile traditions while reconsidering the relationship between process, object, and display. In embroidery, the adda, often understood as a functional tool, became an integral part of the work's visual and conceptual language.

Presented within the exhibition's broader focus on materiality and making, the works extended Khanna's ongoing engagement with textile traditions while continuing his exploration of contemporary culture through richly textured surfaces that balance humour, observation, and experimentation.

Moments That Make Infinity marked an important development in Khanna's evolving practice, introducing the wooden adda as an integral part of his artistic language while further expanding his investigation of embroidery as a medium that moves fluidly between craft, object, and contemporary art.
